Who we are

DropTine Land Clearing and Excavation is an owner-run land clearing company based in Early, Texas. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean DropTine Land Clearing and Excavation. It explains what happens to the information you give us through this website, by phone or by text, and how the website itself uses cookies and tags.

What we collect

When you send the estimate form, we collect what you type into it:

• your name and phone number
• your email address, if you choose to give it
• the service you need and anything you tell us about the property or project, such as where it is, how much land and what's growing on it
• whether you ticked the box agreeing to calls and text messages

What the website records on its own

Along with the form, the site records the page you sent it from and how you found us, such as the ad or campaign that brought you here (UTM parameters and ad click IDs). This tells us which advertising is working.

Like most websites, our hosting and the tags described below also see basic technical details, such as your browser, device type, IP address and the pages you visit.

How we use it

We use what you send us, and what the site records, only:

• to answer your request, walk the property and prepare your estimate
• to contact you about that estimate and any work that follows, by phone, email or, if you agreed, text message
• to keep a record of the request and the work
• to understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising, in aggregate

Text messages

We only send text messages if you tick the consent box on our form or otherwise agree to receive them. Ticking it is optional, and agreeing is not a condition of getting an estimate or doing business with us.

Texts are about your request: setting up the estimate, scheduling and updates on your job. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also call us to stop texts.

We do not share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The full program terms are in our terms and conditions.

Who sees it

Your request is emailed to our office, and a copy goes to you if you give an email address. Those emails are delivered by Mailgun, an email delivery service. The request is also added to our customer relationship management (CRM) system, which we use to keep track of estimates and follow up with you.

Our marketing agency, Blue Goat Land Leads, builds and maintains this website and our CRM, and may see requests while setting up, testing or fixing them.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone else except the service providers named in this policy, or where the law requires it.

Cookies, analytics and advertising tags

We advertise online, and depending on the campaign, the site may load one or more of the following tags. They set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser to measure visits, calls and form submissions, and to show you relevant ads:

• Google Tag Manager and Google Ads (Google LLC)
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), used with Facebook and Instagram advertising
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), which records how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling, so we can improve them
• WhatConverts, which connects calls and form submissions to the ad or search that led to them. It may show a different phone number on the page for that purpose, and it logs basic details of calls to that number, such as the calling number and the time.

Google Maps

Some pages show a Google map of our service area. The map is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies and receive your IP address under Google's privacy policy.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. Google, Meta and Microsoft each offer their own controls for ad personalization. If you've asked for an estimate and no longer want to hear from us, tell us when we reach out, reply STOP to a text, or call (325) 240-6926 and we'll close the request. You can also ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.

Keeping it safe

The form is sent over an encrypted connection. We keep request records only as long as we need them to handle the estimate and the work that follows, and for our own business records. No system is perfectly secure, but we take sensible care with what you send us.

Children

This website is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
