Land clearing in GeorgetownHow far we go, and how we decide
We haul our own machines to every job: a forestry mulcher, a compact track loader with a root rake, a Link-Belt excavator and dump trailers, all run and maintained by us. That's why our range is measured from the shop in Early, and why it runs about 150 miles in each direction instead of stopping at the county line.
Deciding whether a job is in range is simple. Tell us where the property is and what's on it. Around Brownwood and the rest of Brown County it's a short drive. Toward the edge of the radius we look at the drive and the size of the job together, because every job carries a two-day minimum billing. There's no minimum acreage, and if a job doesn't make sense at that distance, we'll say so plainly. Weather counts too: long wet spells make soft ground hard to work, and if conditions affect timing, you'll hear it from us first.
Close to home, Brown County communities like Bangs, Lake Brownwood, Thunderbird Bay, Zephyr and Blanket are a short drive, and Woodland Heights in south Brownwood has its own page. Each town page covers the ground as it really is there: Rolling Plains mesquite around Abilene, Concho Valley ranch land at San Angelo, cedar hills around Brady and the Balcones Escarpment at Georgetown, with the county, the drive from Early and how each service fits.
Our town pages cover the places we're asked about most, but plenty of land sits between them. West on US 67/84 are Bangs and Santa Anna, then Coleman on the way to Abilene and Ballinger on the way to San Angelo. South on US 377, the road crosses the Colorado River into McCulloch County on its way to Brady. Southeast on US 84/183 are Goldthwaite, Lometa and Lampasas, on the road toward Leander, Cedar Park and Georgetown. North of Brownwood, SH 279 runs up past Lake Brownwood. If your town isn't on a page, that doesn't mean it's out of range.
Many of our customers own land out here but live in Austin, Georgetown or Leander. That works fine: once the scope is agreed, you usually don't need to be on site while we clear, and we'll let you know when the job is done.
Wherever your land is, the job starts the same way: a free on-site estimate and a clear scope and cost before any work begins. See what each service covers, finished jobs and answers about estimates, or ask for your estimate. We're on the job Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
